Gamespy Shutting Down

Gamespy is shutting down, which means most likely all their servers are too, including SWBF2.

On the 31st of May 2014 will shut down any gamespy server for every game.
We may have to use Gameranger or Tungle in the future and I don't know if direct IP is possible.

This really does suck for the SWBF2 community. It's going to make it pretty much impossible to get new people into the game, and pretty annoying for us to even get a game in.

I really hope that the new game comes out soon, and has a PC port of course.

I suggest asking AUS what they know and what they are going to do. Is it possible to use direct IP?

Well for Halo PC they are trying to petition steam to adopt the halo master server, see Here, so maybe it might be possible for us to create one.

Hmm haven't played that Halo Game in a while maybe we should think about starting our own little colony on that game for EAS
