Hi all, kinda hard to get a team together if I don't know who's free. Please post here with your availability asap. We also need to know if you can't play so also post that.
So far we've got 3-4 players and need more!

SAU? Nah, they're still around, most of them play LoL though, so their SWBF2 division is kind of dead.MrMew wrote:Been looking on the AUS forum, says that SAU is finished. Is this true? Mr Pistol?

I'll most likely not be playing on the 7th.
(I've used my 1GB of Internet for the month so 64kbps until the 20th)

Hi all,
The deadline for getting in the team is this Thursday (5th Dec) at 12am aest. Please let me know by then if you can play otherwise I'll assume you can't play. If there was an important reason why you couldn't let me know by then please PM me.
At the moment we only have 2 players free and desperately need players. At this stage any member who is free, is likely to play. So please don't hesitate to play if you don't think your good enough!

Re: EAS vs SAU 30th November
Ok sorry guys I have some really bad news I can't Play on the 7th because I am going on a little vacation to Port Stephens and I won't have the Internet Access I usually have so I am sensing that we can't do another reschedule then its just Pistol on his own.
If we do reschedule then I might be able to Play if not then sorry .
I will be away to Port Stephens for the 5th-9th so sorry everyone.
But I can still be Active on the Forums I just can't make it to the Comp because of a Lack of a Decent Internet .
I think we should have done this Comp During the Holidays when everyone was free to be Honest with you all .
So Good Luck Everyone That Is Playing In The Comp And I Can Still Help Make A Team .

Re: EAS vs SAU 30th November
Just Pistol and Mew...We have to pull out, and we should wait until we're all free on a certain date in the holidays. It's just embarrassing having to pull out 2-3 times.
Pistol - don't postpone it to a specific date, cancel it until further notice. We can work out a date that works for all.

Re: EAS vs SAU 30th November
Correction, Lightning, no one here said to wait until the holidays. Plus, even if they did, it isn't school that's causing the problem, if fact, NO ONE here is not playing because of school. Additionally, most people have finished school for the year. The problem is the few players who are active, have things to do that aren't playing, which is understandable.
I think playing in tournaments like this, with this few clan members, is going to require a certain level of commitment, at least until we have more active members, and I don't think anyone here wants to give that, including me. So, I don't think I will be able to organise anything in the near future, solely because we don't know if we will be able to have enough players.
This leaves me in the embarrassing situation of having to pull out of the competition, because of a lack of active members. This is a situation that I would rather not be in on a regular basis, so for the future, we should try and recruit some more members, before organising this kind of thing, then we will have a larger member pool to pick from.
In this case, it will probably be fine to pull out of the tournament, I don't think SAU will have enough players anyway.
This is the message I will send to TK664:
"In regards to the upcoming tournament between SAU and EAS.
We (EAS) have been forced to pull out of the tournament because of a lack of active members. We would like to organise a better date, however it would be best if we had some time to gain a few more members before we do so.
Sorry for any inconveniences.
-Pvt. Pistol on behalf of EAS"
Let me know what you think, however, keep in mind I will be sending this by the end of today at the very latest.

Re: EAS vs SAU 30th November
I agree totally, and I think that message is perfect.
In regards to the comment I made "How many dozens of times have I said this in the last month?" I may not have said it in the forums, but I said it literally dozens of times to Lolasaurus.
I'm sure all that think the most of this clan would agree, that it would be wise to pull out, and forget the idea for a while.

Re: EAS vs SAU 30th November
Okay guys, I went on the SAU forums last night, right as I was about to make send my message to TK664, and I found that SAU didn't have very many players that were playing in the competition either. So I decided not to cancel it, as I think we still have two players, as do SAU.
So I will not be canceling it as of now, and, honestly, if it falls apart and no one makes it on the night, it won't be a big deal. if you could make it, please try to.
Thanks, and sorry for the confusion.

Re: EAS vs SAU 30th November
Details are:
7pm (AEST) tomorrow (Dec 7th)
Nuzza's Server (AUS flight zone, but will most likely be renamed to SAU vs EAS or something similar)
Anyone who turns up can play, the server password will be posted on the forums here before tomorrow night.
More rules are TBA.
You MUST wear the ~EAS~ tag to avoid confusion, and be respectful of the other team and use appropriate language, otherwise it is an embarrassment to the clan, and you may not be playing for us again any time soon.
All that can attend, Have Fun!!
Good Luck!

Re: EAS vs SAU 30th November
Even though we won, it was a rather depressing match.
Mew and I logged on at 7:00, and there were no SAU players to be seen, and then Snipermint from SAU joined half an hour later. We played 2 rounds 2 v 1, and then got bored cause Mew and I kept winning. That was when we swapped over to the main server, and played with some randoms.
So EAS wins... sort of.
I wouldn't go around bragging about how we won, though, it wasn't a real match.

Even that it wasn't really much of a tournament with only 3 People on we still Won a Decisive Victory by Numbers and Skill .
Thank god we never pulled out but again sorry I couldn't make it .
Well next Time we ever have another Tournament make it During the Holidays where we can all Play.
And also I would Suggest some Clan Scrim Matches well Practice Matches to Test our Skills out on each other .
