You can download the unofficial patch for version 1.2 here. It has a new hub display which I dislike so it is removable. You will start to notice how much better the skins for all the units are. I definetly reccomend it.

If you scroll down there are installation instructions in some small font. Look carefully you will see them.

EDIT: For any unclear ideas, this patch does work on the ordinary servers. It just changes the images not gameplay, therefore nothing else is affected.

I like the better Skins for Armour, Guns and others but I don't think there are any 1.2 Servers out there or unless the 1.2 is an Add to the 1.1.

So I would not Install it or Recommend it Shocked .

It works on the servers so you don't have to worry about that, and it really improves the graphics.

As Mr Pistol says, it does work on the servers - and this is an incredibly good thing as most mods (BFX etc.) need this patch installed to work.
