To be fair, I was actually Googling it while I was writing my post.

Anyway, looks quite good and I'm downloading it now.
(I was using the installer but it broke 1/3 of the way through)

If anyone plays AOE 3, Napoleonic Era is quite a good mod.

Just got a chance to have a quick play of Forgotten Empires just now.
Pretty damn good I reckon, and everything scales so well with the new higher pop cap.
They have 3-4x as many Pikemen to throw at me, I have 3-4x as many Longbowmen to slaughter them with.

I want to, but I'm not sure where to find it's dat file.

I thought it might have just overwritten the 'The Conquerors' dat, but I don't see any of the new research items (Warwolf etc) in that one.

(I want British Castles to be able to research the Teutonic tech that increases Castle range, and want all Pikemen etc to have a range to their attack)

EDIT: I got it now; I didn't realise that Forgotten Empires stored it's own files in a sub directory.
From the root AOE 2 folder, go Games-->Forgotten Empires-->Data and that is where all that stuff is.

I want to play a game called The Dark Legions if you've ever heard of it, but whenever I try and launch it it comes up with '22khz sound buffer is not supported'. Whats that mean and can it be fixed?

This has become the Doug and Mew thread, so I feel like I should put in my own two cents.

I first want to mention a game that Lolasaurus and I have been playing for the last week or so, and that game is Awesomenauts! It's basically a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena), like DOTA or League of Legends, but it's a sidescroller, rather than a top down game. So just check it out if you get the chance.

I've also been playing Ace of Spades, basically Team Fortress 2 cross Minecraft, and that's pretty fun, so check that out.

Speaking of Minecraft, does anyone here play?

Don't like minecraft anymore and its just my computer The Dark Legions doesn't work on, works fine on a vista or windows 7, don't know about other xps though.
